Central Finishes Eighth In Florida

MIRAMAR, Fla. – Central Oklahoma finished eighth in the Emerald Coast Classic that wrapped up Tuesday afternoon at Baytowne Golf Club.

UCO posted a 54-hole score of 928 (304-313-311). Henderson State won the team title with an 880, and also had the individual medalist in Gracen Blount (213).

Mika Ramos led the Bronchos with a fifth-place finish individually. The junior posted a 222 – 9-over-par – for the weekend. She had rounds of 73-74-75 and remained in the Top 10 for the entirety of the tournament.

Jirasuda Khunarak was UCO's second top finisher tied for 32nd. She posted an 20-over-par 233, shooting rounds of 77-81-75. Madison O'Dell wasn't far behind with a 236 to tie for 43rd. She posted rounds of 77-78-81. Emma Shelley finished 55th with a 239 (77-81-81).

Arin Zachary finished 61st with a 243 (83-80-80) and Nanya Hinsui finished 77th with a 251 (84-83-84).

Central Oklahoma is off for a few weeks before its next tournament. The Bronchos will take on the field at the Newman Invite April 3-4 at Sand Creek Station in Newton, Kansas.
