Bronchos Stay Sixth In Softball Poll

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 14) – Central Oklahoma stayed at No. 6 in this week's National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II national rankings.

The Bronchos finished with 317 points in voting of 16 head coaches from around the country. North Georgia took over the No. 1 spot from defending national champion Rogers State, which dropped to second.

UCO is 18-3 on the season and is riding a 12-game winning streak. The Bronchos of 10th-year head coach Cody White opened Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association play last weekend with a pair of road doubleheader sweeps.

Central steps out of league play this weekend to play six games against four Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference opponents in the MIAA/NSIC Challenge in Joplin, Mo.
