UCO Trio Opens Ichabod Invitational

TOPEKA, Kan. – Central Oklahoma began the two-day Ichabod Invitational Friday afternoon at Washburn.
 
Dahsauni Lyday earned a 10th-place finish in the shot put with a 12.47-meter mark. Tatum Robertson also competed and finished 17th with a 11.18-meter throw.
 
Jakobi Bartling competed in the high jump and hit 1.43 meters for a 19th place finish.
 
Lyday and Robertson will both compete in the weight throw on Saturday and Bartling will be back for the long jump.
 
Dekayla Gaines and Kyrese Richard will be joining the group for sprints, and Talyn Been, Mattison Thetford, Jolie Oliver and Luz Lugo-Ponce will all be there as well for the pole vault. Distance runners Korie Kizarr and Gracie Sanders will round out the group.
