Cross Country Concludes at Regionals

Central Oklahoma Has Four Run In Season's Final Race

JOPLIN, Mo. – Central Oklahoma wrapped up the 2023 cross country season Saturday at the NCAA Division II Central Region Championships.

Central Oklahoma did not record a team score due to number of entries. The Bronchos had four individuals run in the 6k race at Tom Rutledge Course.

Genevieve Young led the way for the Bronchos. She ran the 6k in 23:57 and finished 143rd in the race of 219 competitors. Young narrowly missed the Top 20 6k times in UCO history.

Eden Haack ran for just the second time this season and finished in 25:56 for a 189th-place finish.

Noel Buckhaults finished 198th with a time of 26:27 and Melohdee Marroquin finished 206th with a time of 26:53.
