Bronchos Finish 13th In Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Central Oklahoma raced to a 13th-place finish at the annual Chile Pepper Festival Friday afternoon.

Korie Kizarr led the Bronchos. She was the high-UCO finisher with a time of 19:30.50 in the 5k trek. Kizarr, a freshman, finished 42nd in the individual standings.

Gracie Sanders posted a 19:39.40 for a 51st-place finish. Seydi Blount and Eden Haack were seconds apart. Blount finished 94th with a time of 20:27.60 and Haack was 96th with a time of 29:29.90.

Four other Bronchos competed in the annual race with hundreds of participants.

Giselle Zavaleta (20:33.60), Noel Buckhaults (21:06.80), Katie McCathern (22:12.60) and Kylee Smith (23:56.70) also ran.
