UCO posted a team score of 299-304 – 603 and is in 16th place in the team standings. Final round play begins at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Lynn (Fla.) leads the field after posting back-to-back rounds of 3-under 285 as a team. Henderson State and Saint Leo (Fla.) are tied for second after both posting team scores of even-par 576 on Monday.

"We played okay for our first round of competitive golf this fall," UCO head women's golf coach Michael Bond said. "We could've done a better job in the second round. There are some really good teams here and the competition is stout. But for our first tournament, it wasn't bad."

Fifth-year senior Madison O'Dell and junior Mika Ramos led the Bronchos through 36 holes. The Owasso, Oklahoma native O'Dell posted a 3-over 75 before logging a 2-over 74. Ramos, from Tulsa, Oklahoma, shot a 1-under 71 before posting a 6-over 78 in the second round.

Jirasuda Khunarak, of Thailand, shot a 36-hole 152 on Monday. She was 7-over in the first round and an improved 1-over 73 in round two.

Emma Shelley, from Bartlesville, Oklahoma, shot 155 with rounds of 76 and 79. Nanya Hinsui, also from Thailand, shot a 161 with rounds of 77 and 84.

Ramos led UCO with four birdies on the day, including three in the first round. O'Dell, Khunarak and Shelley all had two birdies each on Monday.

O'Dell's 27 pars on 36 holes was tied for the most of any player in the field on Monday.

Central Oklahoma will wrap up the season-opening DBU Classic Tuesday with the third and final round. UCO is scheduled to compete in three consecutive weeks with the Lady Tiger Classic at Fort Hays State next week and the Grace Shin Invitational at the Golf Club of Edmond in two weeks.
