Bronchos Ninth In Final Softball Poll

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (June 7) -- Central Oklahoma came in at No. 9 in the final Division II National Fastpitch Coaches Association poll of the 2022 season.

The Bronchos of ninth-year head coach Cody White finished 48-13 this spring, tied for the second-most wins in school history. UCO made its 14th appearance in the NCAA Division II national tournament -- including the ninth in 11 years -- and won the Central Regional II Tournament title before falling to eventual national champion Rogers State in the Central Super Regional.

The Hillcats topped the poll after capturing the national title in Denver, Colo. National runner-up Cal State-Dominguez Hills was second, with Texas-Tyler, Auburn-Montgomery and North Georgia rounding out the top five. Click here for the full rankings.
