Central Finishes 10th

OKLAHOMA CITY (March 8) – Central Oklahoma could never get untracked and finished 10th in the Broncho Invitational that wrapped up a two-day run at Gaillardia Country Club Tuesday.

UCO knocked 11 shots off its first-round score in closing with a 306 and finished two trips around the 7,120-yard, par-72 course with a 623 total. Southwestern Christian and Oklahoma City tied for the team title at 601.

Caleb Kimmel and Liam Coughlin both shot 75 to lead the Bronchos in final-round play, while Evan Griffith, Kyle Hickey and Bennett Baldwin all shot 78.

Central also has three players competing as individuals. Ross Taylor and Riley Harris both had 74s and Cullen Cummings a 78.

Taylor had six bogeys and four birdies in his two-over round and ended up as Central's low finisher, tying for sixth with a 147 total. Kimmel came in 16th at 150.

The Bronchos are back in action next week at the Oak Tree Invitational hosted by Oklahoma Christian.
