Baldwin Earns MIAA Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (March 23) -- Central Oklahoma's Bennett Baldwin has been named Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Golfer of the Week, the league announced Wednesday.

The freshman from Stillwater finished fourth in the Lion Invitational that was held Monday and Tuesday in Trophy Club, Texas in leading the Bronchos to a sixth-place showing. Baldwin fired rounds of 72-71-76 for a three-over-par 219 total on the Whitworth Course at Trophy Club County Club.

It was Baldwin's best finish in eight tournaments this year.

Baldwin and the Bronchos will be back in action April 4-5 at The Mule Classic in Warrensburg, Mo.
