Northwest Missouri is hosting the championships Friday through Sunday at Hughes Fieldhouse. The action gets underway Friday afternoon with the pentathlon. Saturday, field events begin at 1:30 p.m. and track events begin at 2 p.m. Field events will begin at noon on Sunday and track events will begin at 1:30 p.m.

Central Oklahoma has 10 Top 20 marks in the MIAA this season, including a pair of top-10 performances.

Dahsauni Lyday's NCAA provisional qualifying throw of 13.71 meters in the shot put last month highlights the best performances of the 2021-22 Indoor season for Central Oklahoma. She ranks third in the MIAA with that mark and 35th nationally. Lyday also ranks 11th in the MIAA in the weight throw (15.27m).

Harlie Hanson has the other top-10 performance this season for the Bronchos. The distance veteran set a school record in the 3,000 meters earlier this month with time of 10:14.95. That mark is the ninth best in the MIAA this winter.

Arizona Hummingbird, who earned All-MIAA honors in the fall during cross country season, will join Hanson in the 3,000 meters and will also run the Mile race.

Tatum Robertson and Eve Brennan will join Lyday in both the shot put and the weight throw.

Ansley Scott, who picked up her first career win at Kansas State last weekend, is scheduled to race in the 200- and 400-meters this weekend. Kaleigh Dyas will join her in the 200 and run the 60-meter dash as well.

Cali Dorman and Jacie Edwards will join Scott in the 400. Jordan Chancellor will be Central's lone jumper in the championships. She will compete in the long jump on Saturday.
