Kassidy Collins Named to All-Tournament Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kassidy Collins was named to the MIAA Women's Soccer Championship All-Tournament Team, the league announced Tuesday.

Central Oklahoma was the No. 5 seed in the postseason tournament and made an appearance in the quarterfinals. UCO lost 2-0 at Fort Hays State.

Collins, a team captain, helped the backline hold Fort Hays State to a scoreless first half. The Broncho defense limited Hays to just six shots on goal out of 16 total shots in the game.

Central Oklahoma did receive an at-large bid to the NCAA national tournament. UCO will be the No. 7 seed in the Central Region and is scheduled to visit No. 2 Bemidji State this Friday in the opening round.
