Bronchos Open Season At DBU Classic

Denton, TEXAS (Sept. 20) – Susana Olivares was one-over-par after two rounds to lead Central Oklahoma on the first day of the Dallas Baptist Classic Monday.

The sophomore standout had rounds of 73-72 at the par-72 Wildhorse Golf Club at Robson Ranch, leaving her 10th in the individual race. The Bronchos, playing their first tournament of the fall season, are 16th in the 19-team field after shooting 306-305=611.

St. Mary's leads the tournament at 575, while the host Patriots and Lynn are tied for second at 581. Final-round play begins at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Madison O'Dell had rounds of 76-79, while Kinsley Hall shot 82-75, Mika Ramos 79-79 and Emily Miller 78-80.
