Central No. 22 In Final NFCA Poll

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Central Oklahoma softball team landed at No. 22 in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association's final poll of the 2021 season.

Central Oklahoma went 36-14 this season, winning the regular season MIAA title. UCO hosted the NCAA Division II Central Regional Championship at Broncho Stadium, making the postseason for the sixth time in eight years under head coach Cody White.
 
Central got as high as No. 13 during the regular season went it posted a 29-9 overall record and an 18-4 mark in league play. The Bronchos finished their MIAA slate 21-5 to win the league title for the fourth time.
 
UCO had five All-MIAA selections this season with senior outfielder Hazel Puempel also earning All-Region and All-American honors.
 
White improved to 301-124 overall as the head coach at Central.
