Bronchos Fall In Softball Poll

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 24) -- Central Oklahoma dropped two spots in this week's National Fastpitch Coaches Association NCAA Division II coaches' poll, coming in at No. 25.

The Bronchos went 2-2 last week at the Hy-Vee Classic in Emporia, Kan., losing two close games to Augustana while beating Sioux Falls twice. Augie remained No. 3 in the rankings, following top-rated North Georgia and No. 2 Texas A&M-Commerce.

Rogers State is the only other Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association team in the top 25, coming in at No. 12. UCO split a road doubleheader with the Hillcats two weeks ago.

The Bronchos, 16-6 on the season and 5-1 in the league, is back home Friday to host MIAA rival Lincoln for a 2 p.m. doubleheader.
