UCO No. 23 In Latest NFCA Poll

EDMOND – The University of Central Oklahoma softball team continued to inch up the national rankings Wednesday. The NFCA Top 25 shows the Bronchos at No. 23 in the country.

Central Oklahoma is 12-4 this season and last week, after making its 2021 debut in the national rankings at No. 25, the Bronchos went 5-1. UCO swept Missouri Southern at home before sweeping Northeastern State on the road. The Bronchos split with then ranked 12th Rogers State.

UCO is scheduled to make a trip to St. Joseph, Mo. this weekend for the annual Hy-Vee Classic. The festival, hosted by Missouri Western, will put Central up against four opponents from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
