UCO Picked Third In MIAA Preseason Coaches' Poll

Bronchos Return To Play February 7 In Texas

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The University of Central Oklahoma women's golf team was picked third in the MIAA Preseason Coaches' Poll, the league office announced Monday. Central Oklahoma received two first-place votes and totaled 83 points in the poll of 11 head coaches.

Central Oklahoma is preparing to finally kick off its 2020-21 season next weekend. The Bronchos had the fall portion of their scheduled suspended due to the pandemic. UCO will open play Sunday in Carrollton, Texas at Indian Creek. Central Missouri is hosting the event and it runs through Tuesday.

UCO, of 13th-year head coach Michael Bond, returns seven letter winners from the 2019-20 squad that won one tournament and finished second in three others.
