UCO Finishes Fifth

TOURNAMENT RESULTS

OWENSBORO, Ky. (Sept. 30) – Blake Murray and Joe Lemieux both carded under-par rounds to pace Central Oklahoma in the final round of the Kentucky Wesleyan Fall Invitational Monday.

Murray shot a four-under-par 68 and Lemieux had a three-under 69 as the Bronchos closed with a one-under 287 to finish two trips around the 6,925-yard, par-72 The Pear Club with a 567 total. Central Missouri won the 19-team tournament at 552, followed by Maryville (558), Lindenwood (561), Arkansas Tech (562) and UCO.

Jacob Lackey and Evan Pennington both shot 75 for UC, while Yannic Oppenheimer had a 78.

Lemieux tied for ninth in the individual standings with a five-under 139 total. Lackey and Murray tied for 15th at four-under 140.

The Bronchos wrap up their four-tournament fall schedule next Monday and Tuesday at the Missouri Western Invitational in St. Joseph, Mo.
