UCO Returns To Action In MSSU Invitational

The Central Oklahoma men's golf team makes its second appearance of the fall Monday and Tuesday when the Bronchos compete in the Missouri Southern Fall Invitational at Monkey Island, Okla.

UCO will be looking to improve on its ninth-place finish in the season-opening Ryan Palmer Invitational in Amarillo, Texas two weeks ago and will face a field filled with Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association rivals at the 7,211-yard, par-72 Shangri-La Golf Resort.

The Bronchos of fourth-year head coach Josh Fosdick will take six players to the 54-hole tournament, with 36 holes set for Monday and 18 for Tuesday.

Seniors Joe Lemieux, Blake Murray and Peyton Knell, juniors Jacob Lackey and Yannic Oppenheimer and freshman Evan Pennington will all play for UCO. Lemieux and Murray led Central in this year's first tournament, tying for 23^rd place with two-over-par 215 totals.
