Roberts Named All-Region

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (May 13) -- Central Oklahoma women's golf standout Sydney Roberts has been named a first-team All-Central Region selection, it was announced Monday.

The junior from Brownwood, Texas has enjoyed a stellar year, having finished in the top 20 in nine of 12 tournaments with six top-10 showings. She has a 77.3 scoring average for the year.

Roberts will tee off at 7:30 a.m. (Oklahoma time) in the NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championships at the 6,081-yard, par-73 PGA National Champion Course. She qualifed for the national tourney with a ninth-place finish at the Central Regional.
