Central Oklahoma Ninth In Latest ITA Poll

TEMPE, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association listed the University of Central Oklahoma ninth in its latest national rankings Wednesday.

Central Oklahoma is 12-3 this season, including an 11-match win streak that spanned six weeks from February to last week. UCO is also 6-1 in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association.

The Bronchos earned a No. 9 ranking this week thanks again to a trio of individuals listed among the nation's best singles players and one doubles team.

Isabella Dunlap is ranked sixth in the national singles rankings, Adel-Byanu Abidullina is ranked 17th, and Paola Landin is ranked 74th. Dunlap and Landin are ranked 15th in the ITA's national doubles rankings.

Dunlap is 7-6 overall this spring and 4-3 in the MIAA, Abidullina is 11-3 overall and 6-0 in league matches. And Landin is 15-1 with a 7-0 mark in the MIAA. In doubles play, Dunlap and Landin are 10-4 overall and 4-2 in league play.

Central Oklahoma returns to the court this Friday. The Bronchos visit Northeastern State for an MIAA matchup before hosting Lindenwood this Sunday.
