UCO Fourth In Arkansas

MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. (April 1) -- Faith Stewart fired rounds of 75-73 to lead Central Oklahoma to a fourth-place showing after first-day play at the Henderson State Spring Invitational Monday.

The Bronchos opened with a 308 at the par-72 Big Creek Golf Club before knocking 10 shots off that score in the afternoon to finish with a 606 total after 36 holes. The host Reddies lead the 12-team tourney at 596, followed by Texas A&M-Commerce (598), Missouri Western (602) and UCO.

Final-round play in the two-day, 54-hole tourney begins at 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Stewart is tied for fourth in the individual standings with her 148 total, while Madison O'Dell (77-75) and Makena Mucciaccio (78-74) are tied for 15th at 152. The Bronchos also got rounds of 78-76 from Sydney Roberts and 81-78 from Yuna Sato.
