EDMOND – The University of Central Oklahoma baseball team announced Monday it was postponing its scheduled matchup against Oklahoma Baptist on Tuesday due to inclement weather.
UCO has not announced a makeup date yet, but will as soon as plans are finalized.
Central Oklahoma is 6-2 on the season and was scheduled to play its first road game of 2019 on Tuesday afternoon in Shawnee, Okla., but forecasted rain and snow will delay that.
UCO will now ready for its Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association opener this weekend. The Bronchos, defending league champions, host Missouri Southern in a three-game series beginning Friday evening at Wendell Simmons Field.
