Central Oklahoma is the defending MIAA regular season champions. UCO went 37-21 last season including a 25-11 mark in league play and won the regular season title on the final day of the season, beating Northwest Missouri.

The Bronchos went on to make the NCAA Tournament for the second time in as many years. Fourth-year head coach John Martin has led UCO to 104 victories in three seasons.

UCO does return just 11 players from last year's squad. But the Bronchos have bolstered their lineup this past offseason with 25 new faces ready to contribute.

The Bronchos open the 2019 season Friday, Feb. 1 at 1 p.m. against Southeastern Oklahoma. UCO is hosting the Edmond First Pitch Classic this weekend, bringing eight teams to Wendell Simmons Field for a three-day, 12-game festival to kickoff the new season.
