TEMPE, Ariz. – With the release of the field for the 2017 NCAA Division II women's tennis tournament on Tuesday evening, the last rankings before the postseason begins were released Wednesday.

The University of Central Oklahoma is headed to the NCAA tournament, beginning Monday, May 1. And for the first time this season, UCO is ranked in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Top 50. The Bronchos are 43rd in the country.

Alli Hodges was the only player ranked for the Bronchos, and has been all season. Hodges stayed at No. 38 in the ITA's ranking of top singles players in the country. She recently wrapped up her second 20-win season in as many years and was awarded Second Team All-MIAA for her efforts.

UCO needs just two wins next week in Tahlequah to advance to the NCAA Championships in Altamonte Springs, Fla.
