EDMOND (April 1) – Central Oklahoma took control early and cruised to an 8-1 Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association romp over Lindenwood Friday afternoon at the Broncho Courts.

The Bronchos lost just four games in sweeping all three doubles matches to grab a commanding 3-0 lead and won five of the six singles matches to complete the lopsided win.

UCO improved to 13-5 on the season and evened its conference record at 2-2 heading into Saturday's 10 a.m. home match against intrastate rival Northeastern State.

The Bronchos got 8-1 doubles wins from Alli Hodges and Kirtana Bhat and Anna Minakova and Shali Schoepflin along with an 8-2 victory from Alix Williams and Emilie Semo to take early command of the dual.
