UCO Hosts RiverHawks Thursday

UCO MEET IN-STATE RIVAL:  Central Oklahoma plays the first of two games against intrastate rival Northeastern State Thursday, with game-time set for 4 p.m. at Tom Thompson FIeld.
 
UCO is 2-2 on the season, while the RiverHawks are 4-0.
 
The Bronchos follow Thursday's game with a trip to Bolivar, Mo. Saturday to take on Southwest Baptist at 12 p.m.
 
UCO AT HOME:  The Bronchos are 125-30-8 record in their 18th year at Tom Thompson Field.  UCO is riding a five-game home winning streak.
 
ABOUT THE SERIES:  UCO owns a big 16-2-1 lead in the rivalry with the RiverHawks.  The Bronchos won two close decisions last year (1-0 and 2-0).
 
ABOUT THE BRONCHOS:  UCO ended a two-game losing streak in its last outing, blanking near-by Southern Nazarene 2-0 in the home opener.
 
Senior Kenzie Sublett sparked the Bronchos in that contest, scoring her first goal of the season while adding an assist.
 
It was the first shutout of the season for UCO, which recorded a school-record 15 last year.
 
Freshman Kentia Kokis has scored three of the UCO's six goals and added one assist for a team-high seven points.
 
Sublett, freshman Katie Killion and senior Kimberly Linder have one goal apiece for the Bronchos.
 
Twenty-five players have seen action for UCO, including 15 true freshmen.
 
ABOUT THE RIVERHAWKS:  NSU is off to a dominating start and outscored its first four opponents a combined 19-0.
 
Anastasia Robinson, Morgan Kent and Melissa Giles have scored three goals each for the RiverHawks, while Julia Mathis has four assists.
 
NSU has allowed only15 shots in four games, including just four shots on goal.
