EDMOND (March 11) – Lauren Allison, Natasa Brnovic, Olya Burak and Emilie Semo picked up two wins apiece to lead Central Oklahoma past Cowley County Community College 7-2 Wednesday afternoon at the UCO Courts.

The Bronchos swept the three singles matches to take an early 3-0 lead and then finished off the victory by taking four of the six singles bouts.

Allison and Semo teamed up for an 8-2 rout in doubles before Allison earned a default win and Semo a 6-1, 6-1 romp in singles. Minakova also rolled to an easy 6-1, 6-1 singles triumph in addition to taking an 8-4 victory in doubles with Olya Burak, while Bronovic prevailed 6-4, 6-4 in singles and joined with Alina Gorina for a tough 9-8 doubles win.

The Bronchos, now 4-5 on the season, go to Seminole Thursday to take on Seminole State College.
