Bronchos Finish 12th

SEASIDE, Calif. (Oct. 20) -- Central Oklahoma shot a final-round 303 and finished 12th in the Otter Invitational here Tuesday.

The Bronchos finished the two-day, 54-hole tournament with a 900 total at the par-72 Black Horse Golf Club. Chico State won the 18-team tournament at 859, followed by Nova Southeastern (863), Cal State-Monterey Bay (871), Simon Fraser (882) and Cal State-San Bernardino (883).

Eric Kline led UCO with a closing 74, while Cody Troutman and Wesley Jackson shot 76 and Russ Purser and Eli Armstrong 77. Kline ended up 21st in the medalist standings with a 219 total.

The Bronchos wrap up their fall season next Monday and Tuesday at the Southern Plains Intercollegiate at Gaillardia Country Club in Oklahoma City.
