UCO Finishes Third In Final Fall Tourney

CONOVER, N.C. (Oct. 28) – Logan Gray fired an one-under-par 71 to lead a final-round rally that lifted Central Oklahoma to a third-place finish in the Rock Barn Intercollegiate here Tuesday.

The Bronchos closed with a 298 in finishing with a two-day, 36-hole total of 602 on the 6,960-yard, par-72 Jones Course at Rock Barn Golf & Spa to move up two spots in the standings. Chico State won the 21-team event by four shots over Georgia Southwestern.

It was the final tournament of the fall for UCO, which had three wins, a third and a fourth in its five-event schedule.

Logan Gray's 71 vaulted him into a tie for seventh in the individual race with a 148 total, the same score Russ Purser had after a closing 73.

Eric Kline also had a final-round 73, while Wesley Jackson shot 81 and Joby Gray 82.
