Bronchos Go To Missouri Southern Thursday

Central Oklahoma heads to Missouri for its final road-swing of the regular season Thursday when the Bronchos go to Joplin to take on Missouri Southern at 7 p.m.
 
UCO moves on to Bolivar Saturday to face Southwest Baptist at 11 a.m.
 
The Bronchos are 9-3-2 on the season and 6-2-2 in Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association play.  The Lions are 5-7-2 overall and 3-6-1 in the league, while the Bearcats are 11-3 and 8-2.
 
Central Missouri leads the conference with 30 points and is a perfect 10-0 in the conference.  SBU is second with 24 points and UCO is tied for third with Fort Hays State with 20 points apiece.
 
The Bronchos finish the regular season Oct. 31 and Nov. 2 with home games against Northeastern State and MSSU.
 
Eight teams advance to the MIAA Post-season Tournament, with the top four hosting first-round games before the semifinals and finals are played in Olathe, Kan.
 
UCO is 5-1-2 in its last seven games, having allowed just two goals in that span.  The Bronchos are coming off a 4-1 win over Lindenwood in their last outing.
 
Freshman Lexi Carroll tops UCO in scoring with 11 points (four goals, three assists).  Senior Emily Hahn and junior Gabi Bochus have four goals apiece.
 
Senior Brandi Bartley and freshman Elle Stover have split time in goal, with Bartley having made 34 saves and Stover 29.
