UCO TO OPEN SEASON:Â No. 23-ranked Central Oklahoma makes its 2013 debut Thursday when the Bronchos host near-by rival Oklahoma Christian.
Game-time at Tom Thompson Field is 4 p.m.
UCO, coming off a 16-3-3 season and its ninth NCAA Division II national tournament appearance in 13 years, follows Thursday's match with a two-game road swing.
The Bronchos take on William Jewell at 2 p.m. Saturday in Liberty, Mo. before moving on to face Upper Iowa in Fayette, Iowa at noon Monday.
UCO AT HOME:Â The Bronchos have enjoyed great success at Tom Thompson Field, owning a 112-24-6 record (81.0 percent) in the facility that opened in 1998 when the program started.
UCO was 8-1-1 at home last season.
