UCO Loses To Tritons

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (Nov. 24) --
Central Oklahoma couldn't stay up with red-hot Missour-St. Louis and the short-handed Bronchos lost their fourth straight game here Satruday afternoon with a 90-76 setback on the second day of the Drury Classic.

UCO, playing without leading scorer Seth Heckart and top reserve June Carter, fell behind early and never recovered against the Tritons.  USML shot 57.5 percent (15-of-26) from 3-point range and used that long-range accuracy to take the early lead en route to taking early control against the Bronchos,.

Jamell Cormier scored 24 points to lead UCO, while Spencer Smith added 20.  The Bronchos also got 14 points from Josh Davis and 10 from Josh Gibbs.

The Bronchos, now 1-4, host near-by rival Oklahoma Christian at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
