INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 17) – Lacey Rhodes will be Central Oklahoma's lone representative in the upcoming NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships, it was announced Tuesday when the fields were finalized for all the events.

The freshman sensation is the No. 2 seed in the high jump for the national meet, set for May 26-28 at Al Brenda Track on the Cal State-Stanislaus campus in Turlock, Calif.

Rhodes has enjoyed an outstanding season, having captured three meet titles while finishing third in two others. The Mustang rookie captured the Lone Star Conference championships on May 8 with a season-best 5' 9 ¾” effort that ranks as the second-best in Division II this year.

Pittsburg State's Gretchen Clark leads the 17 high jump qualifiers with a 5' 10” showing.
