Robertson Earns Second Regional Player of the Year Award

UCO Senior Outfielder Continues Awards Haul After Big Season

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Central Oklahoma senior outfielder Caden Robertson was named Central Region Player of the Year by the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association, it was announced Tuesday.

Robertson was a First Team All-Region pick in addition to being named Player of the Year. He earned the same honors from the National College Baseball Writers Association, which announced their All-Region honors last week. Robertson also earned the honors from the MIAA following the regular season two weeks ago. Robertson is the sixth UCO baseball player to be named Regional Player of the Year and first since 2014.

Robertson hit .358 this season, leading UCO with 76 hits, 20 doubles, 23 home runs, four triples, 76 RBIs and 173 total bases. The senior from Magnolia, Texas has a 1.242 OPS, an .816 slugging percentage, and a .426 on-base percentage. His 23 home runs tied for most in a season in UCO history, joining Ray Danzy's 2001 season.

This season, four of Robertson's marks were noted in the UCO record book. His first-place tie for single season home runs (23), as well as single season runs scored (T9, 65), doubles (T10, 20), and runs batted in (fourth, 76). In just a two-year career at Central, Robertson is third in school history for career home runs (32), and 10th in career RBIs (117).

UCO went 36-17 in 2025, finishing fourth in the MIAA. Robertson led the Bronchos to the MIAA Baseball Championship, winning the postseason tournament for the first time in school history. UCO qualified for the NCAA Baseball Championship and went to the Central Regional, where the season ended after two losses there.
