Jacobi Sebock Named Second Team All-MIAA, Hart Honorable Mention

Central Oklahoma Has Duo Honored By MIAA Following 2024-25 Season

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Jacobi Sebock was named Second Team All-MIAA and Israel Hart earned Honorable Mention as the league announced its annual postseason basketball awards Tuesday.
 
UCO is playing Emporia State in the 2025 MIAA Basketball Championship Wednesday at 12 p.m. at historic Municipal Auditorium.
 
Sebock played in and started all 28 games this season – his first with the Bronchos. The Midwest City native scored 14.2 points per game, pulled down 7.7 rebounds per game, and led UCO in total shots made (163) this season. Sebock shot 51.9 percent from the floor. He added 12 3-pointers and 60 made free-throws.
 
Sebock did some of his best work on the glass. The bouncy forward averaged more rebounds per game than anyone in the MIAA. He hauled in 216 total rebounds, 7.7 per game. Sebock had 66 offensive rebounds and 150 on the defensive glass.
 
Sebock played 29.0 minutes per game and also added 1.2 assists per game, 1.6 steals per game, and 0.9 blocks per game.
 
Hart led Central Oklahoma in scoring this season. The senior guard played in 27 games, making 24 starts. He averaged 15.8 points per game, the eighth-best mark in the MIAA. Hart was second on the team in shots made and first in shots taken. He was second in both 3-pointers made and attempted. And Hart led the team in free-throws made (106) and attempted (128).
 
Also from Midwest City, Hart added 3.7 assists, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.2 steals per game this season. His 82.8 percent free-throw rate is the sixth-best mark in the MIAA. Hart also ranked third in the MIAA in steals (59) and steals per game (2.2).
 
Central Oklahoma finished the 2024-25 season with a 16-12 record and a 10-9 mark in the MIAA. The Bronchos finished tied for fifth in win-loss percentage among the 14-team league. The MIAA used Key Performance Indicator (KPI) to rank teams for the MIAA Basketball Championship and UCO is the No. 8 seed. The Bronchos play No. 9 Emporia State Wednesday at noon.
