UCO Hosts Friday Night Spring Game

Bronchos Competing In Offense Vs. Defense Simulated Intrasquad Scrimmage At Chad Richison Stadium

EDMOND – Central Oklahoma hosts its annual Spring football game Friday at 6 p.m. at Chad Richison Stadium.

UCO is kicking off the intrasquad scrimmage at 6 p.m. and will go through a series of special teams plays and red zone situations before getting into the offense vs. defense scrimmage.

"We're excited to wrap up spring football, we've had a good spring so far," UCO head football coach Adam Dorrel said. "We're hosting Junior Day before the game and that's always a great time having hundreds of prospective students and their families on campus."

The Bronchos wrap up five weeks of spring football with Friday's intrasquad. UCO will break for the summer before reporting to camp this August ahead of the 2024 season.

Central Oklahoma opens the 2024 season Saturday, Sept. 7 against Langston at Chad Richison Stadium, re-igniting an old rivalry with the school 27 miles north of campus. The Bronchos are scheduled to play six home games in Edmond this fall.

Season ticket renewals are underway now with new sales open to the public this summer.
