WACO, Texas – Central Oklahoma is ranked No. 8 in the American Football Coaches Association Top 25 this week, with the Bronchos moving into the top 10 for the second time this season.
UCO is 8-1 on the year with a 6-1 record in the MIAA. The Bronchos beat Missouri Western 37-34 in overtime Saturday, surviving a wild weekend that ended with the Bronchos in first place in the league standings. Eight teams in the national rankings lost on Saturday.
Central is also No. 7 in this week's D2Football.com Top 25, moving up two spots from last week. In the NCAA's Power Rankings, selected by longtime columnist Wayne Cavadi, the Bronchos are No. 9 in the country.
The Bronchos are on the road in Week 10, visiting the Washburn Ichabods in Topeka, Kansas Saturday, Nov. 9 at 1 p.m.
