No. 12 Central Oklahoma Plays Two Road Games In The MIAA This Weekend

TOPEKA, Kan. – No. 12 Central Oklahoma hits the road this week for a pair of MIAA contests beginning with Washburn Thursday night at Lee Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Central Oklahoma is 12-2 on the season with a 4-2 record in the MIAA. The Bronchos are also scheduled to play at Emporia State Saturday afternoon. Washburn welcomes UCO to Topeka with a 7-4 overall record this season and a 3-2 record in the MIAA.

"Washburn has always been a tough test for us, they're a really good team," UCO head men's basketball coach Bob Hoffman said. "They make you work for everything. It's hard to win there too. We're going to have to be focused and ready to go."

Central is looking to get back in the win column after suffering just its second loss of the season last weekend against Fort Hays State. The Bronchos hadn't lost at home in more than a year before Sunday's setback.
