PITTSBURG, Kan. – No. 20 Central Oklahoma cruised to a 3-0 sweep of Pittsburg State for the second time in 10 days.

Defensively, Perdue's four block assists led the way at the net. Koehn, Karp, Wimmer, and Huck all got in on two blocks each. Behind that, Jaedyn Evans' 16 digs led the defense. But it was a well-rounded effort. Huck added 15 digs, and Katie Le and Kaitlyn Parrott each had 11 digs.

Central Oklahoma came out firing, leading 11-1 in the first set Tuesday night. After a 3-0 start, Pitt State scored its first point on a UCO attack error. Then the Bronchos rattled off eight straight to take control of the match early. Central maintained a 10-point lead throughout the match after the early onslaught and picked up a 25-17 first-set win.

The second set had a few ties, but all were early before another Broncho blitz. The second set was tied, 1-1, 2-2, and 3-3. UCO led 10-3 soon after. There were five attack errors by Pitt State during that 7-0 run with two blocks by the Bronchos. Koehn and Karp also had kills in the rally that put the Bronchos in the driver seat for another set. UCO, 25-15.

UCO didn't quite pull away in the final set, but the Bronchos were also never in danger. The set was tied, 5-5, 6-6, and 7-7. UCO took a small lead after that and never looked back on its way to a 25-16 win and sweep of Pittsburg State.
