UCO Heading Back To Nationals

Central Oklahoma Earned An At-Large Bid As The No. 3 Seed In The NCAA Central Region

INDIANAPOLIS – Central Oklahoma is making a return trip to the NCAA Tournament, it was announced Sunday night, with the Bronchos earning an at-large bid as the No. 3 seed in the Central Region.

Central Oklahoma will play sixth-seeded Minnesota Duluth on Saturday in Maryville, Missouri. Top-seeded Northwest Missouri is hosting the eight-team Central Regional that also includes Northern State, Minnesota State – Moorhead, Southern Nazarene, Emporia State and Southern Arkansas.
 
UCO heads to the NCAA Tournament with a 26-5 overall record. The Bronchos went 18-4 in MIAA play this season and finished second in the league standings. UCO lost the MIAA Basketball Championship final 61-53 to Northwest Missouri earlier Sunday.
 
The Bronchos have a 22-5 record against Division II opponents and are 2-2 against teams also in the Central Region.
