UCO 10th In National Poll

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Feb. 21) -- Central Oklahoma dropped four spots in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II rankings, coming in at No. 10 in the weekly poll that was released Monday.

The Bronchos went 4-1 in hosting the Raising Cane's Festival last weekend at Gerry Pinkston Stadium, with the lone loss a 9-8 setback to Southern Arkansas. UCO finished with 262 points in balloting of 16 Division II head coaches around the country, while SAU moved to No. 7 after being 16th last week.

It marks the 29th consecutive time the Bronchos have been in the top 25, including 10 straight in the top 10.

Defending national champion Rogers State stayed the unanimous No. 1 pick, followed by Texas-Tyler, North Georgia, Tampa and Seton Hill. Click here for the complete poll.

UCO, now 8-3 on the season, doesn't play again until hosting Northwestern Oklahoma for a 2 p.m. doubleheader on March 1.
