Central Oklahoma is 4-0 this season. The Bronchos picked up two wins at the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic in Florida, including a Top 25 win over Mercyhurst. UCO, which also beat Cedarville (Ohio) in Florida, won twice this past weekend over Mary (N.D.) and Northwestern Oklahoma State at the Central Region Challenge in Tahlequah.

Wells has been the leading scorer for UCO in all four games this season. The fourth-year junior from Hurst, Texas is averaging 22.5 points per game and shooting 49 percent from the floor overall. Wells is 50 percent from behind the 3-point line, making 15 of 30 threes in four games. He is also 25-for-28 from the free-throw line, an 89.3 percent rate. Wells also is averaging 3.5 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game this season.

Wells scored 20 in Central's season-opening rout of No. 25 Mercyhurst. He followed that with a big 29-point performance in a gutsy win over Cedarville. In Tahlequah, Wells poured in 22 points in a win over Mary and 19 in the win over Northwestern.

Central Oklahoma is 4-0 on the season and only has one game on the calendar this week. The Bronchos host Southwestern Christian Sunday at 5 p.m. at Hamilton Field House. The Bronchos will play the following Sunday, also at Hamilton, against Tabor College at 6 p.m. before beginning MIAA play Nov. 30 against Central Missouri.
