UCO 8th/9th In Latest Polls

Central Oklahoma solidified its Top 10 standing in the first polls of the new year, it was announced Tuesday.

UCO moved up to No. 8 in the country in the NABC Top 25 and the Bronchos are now No. 9 in the D2SIDA Top 25.

Central Oklahoma is 13-1 on the season and the Bronchos have a 7-1 record in the MIAA, which puts the defending champs in first place in the league standings.

UCO is on the road this week to take on Northeastern State and Rogers State. Following the Eastern Oklahoma road swing, the Bronchos will return home for a huge matchup with Northwest Missouri, which came in at No. 5 in the coaches poll and No. 4 in the media poll this week.

Central Oklahoma has been 11th or better in the NABC Top 25 beginning with the preseason poll of coaches around the country. UCO reached as high as No. 6 before suffering its only loss of the season. The Bronchos were No. 9 in last week's edition.

Central has been 12th or better in the D2SIDA Top 25 all season. UCO reached as high as eighth in that poll before the one loss in December. The Bronchos were 11th two weeks ago in the most recent edition of the poll of sports information directors around the country.
