UCO Drops To 8th In Softball Poll

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 10) -- Central Oklahoma fell three spots in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II poll that was released Tuesday, coming in at No. 8.

The Bronchos, 45-10 on the season, finished with 286 points in balloting of 16 head coaches from around the country. Texas-Tyler remained the unanimous No. 1 pick, with Texas A&M-Kingsville, Auburn-Montgomery, Rogers State and Indianapolis rounding out the top five.

UCO's season continues this week when the Bronchos host the Central Regional II Tournament at Gerry Pinkston Stadium. No. 9 Augustana, Arkansas Tech and Southern Arkansas round out the four-team field, with first-round action starting Thursday.
