Northwest went back in front, 3-2, but the Bronchos tied it up in the top of the fifth inning. Peterson doubled to center field for his third hit in as many at bats. Takamatsu hit a sacrifice fly to right field to move Peterson to third. Then Noah Olson hit a sac-fly to center that scored Peterson and made the game, 3-3.

In the top of the sixth, with one out, Trevor Stevens belted a solo home run to put the Bronchos in front. He drilled the 1-1 pitch out of the park for the go-ahead run.
