Biography

Senior lefty that found a role as the closer for the Bronchos in a shortened 2020 season and will continue to anchor the Broncho staff ... Came out of the bullpen with force and helped UCO to a 17-3 record and a No. 12 national ranking before the season was canceled due to the pandemic ... Continued role and did it well in 2021 ... Provides a solid and aggressive arm ready to finish off Central victories this Spring ... Transferred to UCO from Crowder.

2021: Made 16 appearances for the Bronchos as a junior and earned six saves ... Threw 18 1/3 innings and was dominant, finishing the season with a 3.93 ERA ... Recorded 30 strikeouts and only issued nine walks ... Had a season-high four strikeouts three different times, registering the mark against Fort Hays State, Missouri Southern, and Northeastern State. 

2020: Made nine relief appearances for the Bronchos before the season was shutdown ... Had a sizzling 0.84 earned run average, allowing just one run in 10.2 innings of work ... Had three saves as the closer ... Helped the team finish off a shutout ... Allowed just four hits and only one for extra bases ... Totaled 21 strikeouts in 10.2 innings ... Issued five walks ... Never hit a batter ... Struck out six in his Broncho debut against Missouri Southern ... Struck out three in wins over East Central, Oklahoma Baptist, and Southwestern Oklahoma State ... Earned saves against Henderson State, East Central, and Fort Hays State.

JUCO: Went 6-2 in 41 innings in 2019, striking out 44 on his way to a 4.10 earned run average ... Season-high seven Ks in a four-inning win over Allen County.

High School: All-State selection out of Bryant High in Arkansas ... Had a 0.74 ERA in 69 2/3 innings as a senior ... Also played football.

Personal: Kinesiology major ... Enjoys golf ... Names St. Louis Cardinals his favorite sports team ... Birthdate is Aug. 26, 1998.
