UCO Stays No. 10 In National Poll

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (April 12) – Central Oklahoma stayed at No. 10 in the weekly National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II poll that was released Tuesday.

The Bronchos, 34-6 overall and 13-1 in the MIAA, finished with 266 points in balloting of 16 head coaches from around the country – two from each of the eight regions.

Texas-Tyler was the unanimous No. 1 pick and was followed by Rogers State of the MIAA, who UCO will host Saturday in its final home doubleheader of the regular season. Valdosta State, Cal State-San Marcos and Indianapolis rounded out the top five.

The Bronchos are riding a seven-game winning streak heading into its final four regular-season home games. UCO hosts Northeastern State at 2 p.m. Friday before taking on the No. 2 Hillcats at 12 p.m. Saturday.
