Isaiah Wade Named First Team NABC All-District

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches announced Monday it's annual All-District Teams and University of Central Oklahoma senior Isaiah Wade was recognized for his work on the hardwood with a First Team selection.

Wade led Central Oklahoma this winter to one of the best seasons in school history. The Bronchos went 24-7 overall, reaching as high as No. 9 in the national rankings. UCO also went 18-4 in the MIAA and won the regular season title for the first time since joining the league 10 years ago.

Wade was Central's leading scorer, averaging 19.1 points per game. He also led the team in rebounding at 8.4 boards per game, and field-goal percentage at 58.0 percent.

This season, Wade earned MIAA Player of the Week, First Team All-MIAA, Second Team CCA All-Region, and now First Team NABC All-District.
