Kelsey Johnson Named CCA All-Region

Kelsey Johnson earned an All-Region nod from the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association, it was announced Thursday.

Johnson, a grad student forward, wrapped up an illustrious career last week at Central Oklahoma. The Washington, Oklahoma native averaged a league-high 21.3 points per game and also averaged 9.6 rebounds per game. She led the MIAA in field-goal percentage as well (60.0).

This is the first time Johnson has earned All-Region honors. She is a three-time All-Conference selection and was named First Team All-MIAA twice.

Johnson is the third Broncho to earn the honor. Lizzie Brenner earned All-Region three times and Ashley Beckley was selected twice.
