EDMOND – Central Oklahoma has added Paul Quinn College to its schedule, with a Sunday tipoff at Hamilton Field House scheduled for 2 p.m.
UCO was originally scheduled to visit the University of Mary this weekend for the season-opening Central Region Challenge, where the Bronchos would have played Mary and Northwestern Oklahoma State. Snow in North Dakota caused the cancellation of all flights and left the Bronchos without two games.
Central Oklahoma will now open the 2022-23 season Sunday afternoon.
Paul Quinn is an NAIA college in Dallas, Texas that competes in the Red River Athletic Conference. The Tigers are 1-0 this season with a 65-64 win over UNT-Dallas last weekend.
Central Oklahoma will now open the season with three consecutive home contests. The Bronchos already had Barclay College (Kan.) and Kansas Christian on the schedule for Tuesday and Thursday respectively.
